Does your Insurance cover the H1N1 vaccine?
October 8, 2009 – 3:37 amAre you concerned about the contracting the H1N1 virus or do you know someone that has already? Would like to get the vaccine for either yourself or someone in your family but not sure if it is covered on your health insurance. Most group health insurance plans are covering the H1N1 vaccine with no copays, deductibles or coinsurance fees. Most individual health insurance plans are covering the H1N1 vaccine under an office copay if your plan has office copays. Be sure to call the 800 number on the back of your health insurance company ID cards though before you go to the doctor to get your H1N1 vaccine so that you will know for sure how it is covered by your health plan.
